You've inherited your great grandfather's old bakery. Unfortunately the place is pretty run down and you don't have enough money to pay the rent. Can you make $700 to be able to keep it?

i get how it works, but no matter what i do its bankruptcy one minute into every game. i mean...shoot the ball, bake more pegs...go bankrupt? looks like theres more to the game, but i'll never get to experience it

Theres a third step at the top you need to do which is selling the stuff you bake to get money. Baking costs 1$ each time you do it so you need the third step to counter that. (Plus you get a money penalty for not filling out an order)

Fun game!

I like the art and the feeling of the game. But I don't understand what I need to do 🤷‍♂️

I also waited 20 seconds before the header image, because I thought that was the game 😅

I can give a rundown of the base mechanics

  • You collect pieces of bread by hitting pegs on the pachinko board
  • You can then sell those pieces of bread for money from the top area (you sell by clicking on the supply of that kind of bread on the top right, and you need to match what's wanted for the current order)
  • You can then bake things to refill the pachinko board

There's a gameplay trailer on the page that should show me going through it if that helps a bit

Very cool UI displacement, and interesting aesthetic.

I also submitted to this Jam, if you want check it out.
